TESTIMONIALS
…A proficient motivational speaker must be engaging, be a good storyteller, stir in a bit of humor and have a message to deliver. In the parlance of the “boys in the hood,” an effective speaker must “walk the walk” not just “talk the talk.” In Nino’s case, he goes well beyond “walking the walk.” He has lived the walk and is very effective at communicating what it takes to do so... I find his style and delivery to be refreshing… I can assure you that those attending his presentation will take away unique, positive attitude life lessons and perhaps even a life altering experience!

…Nino Pesce was an instant hit (among the) beginning residents at Wills Eye. He has continued to give these lectures each year. His student evaluations always have been at the top of the speaker’s list. This spring one of the upperclassmen, in giving advice to freshmen students stated, “This is one (lecture) you don’t want to miss.”…

…Mr. Pesce is an intelligent, generous, and compelling presenter. He effectively sensitizes and motivates our medical students to be compassionate and considerate of individuals with disabilities…

From a recent presentation at Cedar Crest College:
...I found you to be a true inspiration! As a nursing student, this was an important experience for me to have. I have not encountered a blind patient yet, but when I do, I feel confident in my ability to care for them safely, all because of what I learned from you. After hearing you talk, I did close my eyes and asked myself, “what if?” What if I lost my vision suddenly and became blind? At first, I was panicked! My plan for my life never included losing my sight. I then thought about you, though, and realized that in the situation something unexpected happens, one must make an adjustment and accept the change rather than succumb to it. The motivational talks you give are a true blessing. Thank you again!
Ellen
I just wanted to take this time to thank you for your presentation at Cedar Crest College. I really enjoyed your presentation and I learned a lot from you. Thank you for clarifying to me that people with blindness can do everything they want to do.

Thank you so much for visiting... The exercise you had us do was a great eye opener to just how hard it is to rely on someone else to help you maneuver through life. Your story about your guide dog that saved your life was touching and brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing that. You are phenomenal at what you do and I wish you all the best with whatever comes your way.
